We are Westport Blooms - friends who have been working together since 2003 to protect the beauty of our own special corner of the world.  A handful of women, working entirely on a volunteer basis and at no cost to the village’s taxpayers, now provide, plant, weed and water close to a hundred and fifty hanging baskets, memorial planters and pollinator-friendly gardens throughout Westport.

Over the years, we have also planted dozens of trees, provided several hundred colourful street banners designed by local school children, decorated the village for the holidays, and donated dozens of waste containers, benches and Muskoka chairs so that folks can relax and enjoy our tree-lined streets and peaceful waterfront.

Our work is entirely funded by our annual tree sale, which - thanks to you! - has contributed nearly 5000 trees to our green canopy.
